Photographs taken in November of 2006 in Murad Khane, a district of timber and mud brick traditional houses in central Kabul, now being restored by the Turquoise Mountain Foundation, a British-based NGO initiated and lead by Rory Stewart, the author of the best selling book, The Places in Between.
